Background
Berica is a privately held company owned by its founders and key employees.
Our key objective is to develop profitable long-lasting business relationships with successful organisations who become deeply satisfied with our services.
The company began trading as a business oriented IT consultancy in 2001. Moving to offices Leamington Spa in 2002, Berica began to recruit new staff. In 2005 the growing business moved to its current new office premises near the M40 in Warwick.
Customers
Berica's customers include organisations with as few as one or two people and many thousands of employees. Our unique history enables us to be as comfortable doing business with global corporations as with a local business. Increasingly our clients are successful growing mid-market businesses in the manufacturing, business services, professional and charitable sectors.

People
Co-Founder - Malcolm Franks
Malcolm has a rich background of experience in technical, consulting, sales, marketing, business management and executive roles primarily with IBM. He has led and worked with organisations in many industry sectors from local to global scale. Alongside his active role as Director of Berica, Malcolm has other consulting, coaching and non-executive board roles.
Co-Founder - Dr. Andy Larkin
Andy's career began as IT specialist then management consultant. As Director of the Knowledge Engineering and Management Centre at Coventry University, he worked with many blue chip companies and SMEs. Andy has been an invited expert speaker at events run by the EC, the Hong Kong Productivity Council, IBM and UK Government.
Andy has first degrees in Computer Systems Engineering and Theological Studies and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Information Systems Practitioner and a member of the British Computer Society. Andy has published several papers at conference and in journals. He retains his interest in Berica from his current vocation as a curate in Derby.
Technical Manager - Jon Lee
A Computer Science graduate from Reading University, Jon has more than 10 years commercial IT experience with businesses in several industries from small companies to major plcs. He manages Berica's technical resources and projects, whilst also performing technical projects directly. His project work focuses particularly around his wide experience with Microsoft networks and his interests in developing and implementing web based business software.

Charities
Berica seeks to develop its social contribution in pace with its own business fortunes. Staff are encouraged to support and participate in charitable activities. The company serves a number of charities and offers a charities discount programme. A share of profits is donated to charitable causes.
